Tannasia. aka T, has over 20 years of experience in healthcare management within several areas including managed care, long term care, quality improvement, regulatory affairs, ambulatory care, financial planning and reporting and analysis. She has held several management positions with a number of organizations including Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Continuum Health Partners, HIP, Royal Health Care, Northwell and Healthix. She is a visionary data scientist with a passion for data, reporting and systems. Over her career, she has amassed a successful track record of process improvement through the development, implementation and maintenance of over 25 Small Data systems with an emphasis on strategically designing and implementing business solutions.
Projects include:
- Various quality improvement tracking systems designed, alongside medical physicians, to measure performance on key quality indicators and provide targeted patient lists for outreach leading to improved quality of care and communication;
- An unborn/newborn enrollment system designed for Medicaid managed care to store, report on and track correspondence with enrollees and regulatory bodies. This streamlined processes by creating auto-generated letters and keeping history of the activity;
- A business development system for a managed healthcare organization designed to store, report on and track information for potential clients and results of advertising; and,
- A client information management system for a not-for profit youth organization designed to store, report on and track demographic information, payments, manage invoices and create marketing materials which highlighted lost opportunities for the organization.
T received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences at Pace University and her MBA in Management from the Zicklin School of Business at the C.U.N.Y. Baruch College.
