White Plains, NY, October 19, 2014 – Along their, to-date three year journey,
EIMA is excited to announce today that it will be participating as a vendor for the first time in the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS) conference to showcase services offered and connect with old and new friends. “CHCANYS serves as the voice of community health centers as leading providers of primary health care in New York State.”[1] EIMA's President and Founder has spent close to 20 years in healthcare management nurturing a maturing love for data and systems. Being the daughter of a nurse who spent over 45 years in long-term care administration, she grew up riding the old mercury blood pressure machines up and down the halls of the nursing home waiting for the day’s work to be completed. So being in healthcare felt like a given...but the emergence of an intense passion and raw talent for working with data, creating reports and databases, data mining, etc. was unforeseen. Today, she offers her talents to clients through EIMA and its team.
EIMA brings close to 30 combined years experience in IT project and data management to the table. Creative, customer-focused, personalized, value-added service is at the heart of EIMA's philosophy. Belief is that creating reports and data management tools is no different than painting a portrait or crafting a sculpture. It gives the same fulfillment...especially when the client's expectations have been exceeded. "Data science lends itself nicely to creative and artistic expression,” says EIMA's President.
EIMA offers systems and processes development, application training and consulting on data management and reporting (generation and infrastructure). Many providers now are adopting Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and just need help extracting, analyzing and reporting the data. EIMA can help as well as explore ways to make the data actionable.
EIMA strives to assist healthcare organizations with leveraging their data as a strategic asset and make way for effective analytics and informatics. In the brink of Healthcare Reform, providers are looking for more efficient ways to use their data to improve quality, reduce costs and maximize reimbursement. A successful strategy includes investment in data governance, standardization, business intelligence and optimal usability to ensure the strategic use of data across the organization. EIMA can assist with developing a strategy for success.
